Data we process

Kitwerk may process account details, inventory records, photos, documents, locations, lending requests and messages. This data is used to maintain a private inventory, generate a public gearlist and handle requests.

Hosting and infrastructure

The application is hosted and delivered through Vercel. Supabase provides authentication and the database; depending on configuration, photos and documents are stored in Supabase Storage or private EU infrastructure through Cloudflare R2 and served through short-lived signed links. The optional address search sends the entered address to Photon (Komoot). If email delivery or paid subscriptions are enabled, Resend or Stripe process the data required for those services.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can delete your account in Settings after an explicit confirmation. Data no longer required is deleted without undue delay; statutory retention, evidentiary duties or ongoing legal claims may require restricted retention. Cookies and local storage

Necessary cookies are the Supabase session (names beginning with `sb-`), `kw-prefs` for views and `kw-consent` for your choice. Recent searches stay only in the browser's local storage. Optional usage measurement runs only after explicit consent and only when an analytics endpoint is configured; it can be withdrawn at any time through cookie settings. There is no marketing or advertising profiling.
