- Where can I find the serial number?
- Depending on the item, it may be on the rating plate, inside the battery compartment, on the box or on the receipt. Enter it in full without guessing.
- Does no match mean the item is safe?
- No. The search only checks active reports in Kitwerk's own database. No match confirms neither provenance nor ownership.
- What should I do if there is a match?
- Pause the purchase, preserve the listing and send the owner a lead through Kitwerk. If the suspicion is concrete, also inform the selling platform or police.
