Pack a kit and check it back in

One list for going out and coming back, including the small parts.

KitsUpdated

A kit is your packing list for a job. Include chargers, memory cards and adapters: small parts are the easiest to forget.

Before the job

  1. Open Kits, create a kit and give it a name you will recognise later.
  2. Add equipment from your inventory. Add custom lines for consumables or items without an inventory entry.
  3. Add a date range if needed. Availability warnings show conflicts; you still make the decision.
  4. Check a line only when the item is physically packed.

After the job

Switch the same kit from Pack to Return. Check each item. Mark exceptions as missing or damaged and add a short note.

Inventory items marked missing become unavailable; damaged items go into maintenance. Check the item status once the exception is resolved.
