Add your first equipment

Start with the equipment you take out regularly. A name is enough to begin; a photo makes items easier to recognise.

Add an item

1. Open Capture and give the item a clear name.
2. Add a photo. A manufacturer or model helps identify it.
3. Save the item. You can add its location, serial number, purchase receipt and technical details on the item page later.

Value and daily rate

Inventory value is what the item is worth. The daily rate is what you charge for a loan. Enter them separately; expensive equipment does not automatically need a high daily rate.

What others see

An inventory entry is not automatically a public offer. Choose whether the item should appear on your gearlist. Check the public view before sharing the link. Private details such as serial numbers and purchase receipts stay in your inventory.
